We iconified Handfuel as a lifestyle brand positioned between taste appeal and health consciousness breaking from category convention to win at shelf. A strong graphic language that’s recognizable from a distance and appetizing up close. HANDFUEL wins at shelf, while changing the perception of nut based snacks, an easily commoditized food into by emotionally engaging the modern consumer.
Sales and distribution continue to grow, the owner says by 600%. For the first time, modern retailers, such as freshii have approached the brand owner, instead of the other way around.
LIVA Case Study:
LIVA is a sugar substitute that prides itself on being made with only two ingredients:
organic dates and love. So we created a simple way to communicate the purity of this product and developed the brand essence: a magical sprinkling of love and sweetness. From a strategic perspective, we needed to create opportunities for consumers to choose Liva over sugar. To convert sugar users into LIVA Lovers, we borrowed established cues from the category to define packaging and design formats. LIVA in stick sachets provides consumers with the opportunity to enjoy life’s simple, sweet moments more often…just as the founder intended.
Ranked #2 on Amazon within 4 weeks of launch, then rose up in search ranking to the #1 spot, and quickly after earned the coveted Amazon’s Choice Widget which they maintain today.
